Basic Program
The Army Basic Course is an elective course requiring only that the individual be a full time student and a legal U. S. citizen. ROTC credit hours earned at other universities are transferable.
Advanced Program
The Advanced Course (third and fourth years) stresses the military skills and knowledge, and interpersonal skills required of commissioned officers of the Active Army, Army Reserve, or Army National Guard.
Simultaneous Membership Program
With the Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP), you participate in both the Guard and your college's ROTC program at the same time. This allows cadets the opportunity to serve concurrently as Army Reserve or National Guard Soldiers, full-time students and cadets, qualifying them for additional training, incentives, and benefits.
Green to Gold
If you're an enlisted Soldier, Army ROTC can help you continue to grow and learn. The Army Green to Gold program provides options for Soldiers interested in pursuing a baccalaureate or graduate degree and earning a commission as an Army Officer.
